Pete's Christmas Story
MOGS note: Pete came from a high kill pound that called him aggressive and unpredictable. Nothing could be further from the truth. He was simply terrified.
Pete's forever family comments: Pete is big goofball love of a boy who is great with dogs, cats and humans and is celebrating his first Christmas in his forever home.
His story is a story of hope for the thousands of dogs like him in pounds who are misunderstood and condemned to die because of it.
Thank you so much for working with us to get this amazing dog. I just thought I'd let you know how Sasha's (as she has been re-named) first day here went. When we first brought her home she was a little shy, and while she seemed liked she wanted to be around us she wasn't sure. It is now almost 9pm and I have a shadow! She is adorable and so well behaved, and just wants to be wherever I am. We have had two family members stop by to do different things, and while wary at first, she got used to both of them. I can't thank you enough for all the time and love you gave her, as I'm sure she wouldn't be the way she is without you. We'll end pictures as soon as we take some. Thanks again!
