Here's the scoop on your application to adopt a MOGS dog:
1. FALSE STATEMENTS: Will disqualify you from adopting a MOGS dog.
2. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS: Will not be considered
3. We are unable to adopt to homes that are already at, or exceed local Animal Control Limits
4. There will be a minimum 3-6 month HOLD on matching dogs to your application if you have just recently added a new dog to your home
5. COMMENTS SECTION AT END: Give us any additional information or further explanation
6. NO OUTSIDE-ONLY DOGS: MOGS Dogs are companion dogs and will not be adopted to "outside only" homes .
7. 21 YRS OLD OR OLDER: You must be 21 years old or older to apply. If you aren't at least 21 yrs old, and file an application online,
your application fee is non-refundable.
8. REFERENCES & A HOME VISIT ARE REQUIRED: We do this for the welfare of the dogs we've worked so hard to save
and bring back to health. Both give us added insight into the homelife
a dog will have (hi-mid-low energy, quiet or noisy, active or mellow, etc)
and allow us to recommend the best match possible for you. We DO
understand that a few people object to this, and we sincerely hope
those who do will save a dog from a shelter!
