Miss Meeka has a new home in Kansas City .....she is the only pet in the house and loves it.....she sits on her big round pillow in front of the mirror and looks at herself and plays with her toys.......she gets full run of the house and has perfect house manners.....she gets her teeth brushed everyday now with poultry toothpaste, takes long walks at least twice a day.....her new Mom renamed her MIA, which means "mine" as MIA has a home for life. Mia's foster Mom, Valerie had done such a great job training her that her new Mom took Mia to a training class to brush up on commands, we all passed with flying colors..........the vet could not believe how quickly Mia picked up on every command and use of the Gentle leader head collar....we are working on Mia's acceptance of other dogs and she is progressing nicely day by day...... Mia met her grandparents and the grandpa is in a wheelchair, she gently walked across the room and put her head in his lap, he was soo amazed at how beautiful and sweet she was it brought a laugh and a tear to his eyes........Mia let the grandmother pet her without rushing or jumping.....it was something to behold.....to think this beautiful creature had to be rescued. Mia's mother is soo grateful to have her and Mia continues to amaze her.....she is truly an ANGEL!
