CASH is a sweetheart of a little boy. He's a bouncy, sweet puppy who's always up for a game of tug with a rope - if you've got the time, he's got the goofy puppy energy. 

CASH is learning fast! He is great at walking on leash and walks well with a stroller too.  He is fully house trained, kennel-trained, and responds to sit, down, and stay commands. He has stopped jumping up on people almost entirely, and only jumps when very, very excited. He likes to chew but his chewing is easily directed at toys.

CASH is sometimes skittish around new dogs which probably stems from his his experience in his first home living with a male dog who did not accept him into the family (through no fault of his own). CASH got a long great with the family's female french bulldog and loved to play with her.

And the best part of all:  he's a little lover!!   He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to cuddle and snuggle, so if you want a cuddler, Cash is your boy!

THE PUPPIES' STORY:  Their mom is Marie (last picture) - an absolute sweetheart of a girl who's also absolutely gorgeous.  She has the soft silky coat and feathers of a setter in a tiny, petite body!  She was found stray and literally starving - weighing only 31 pounds and pregnant.  A good samaritan took her in and committed to keep her until she could have the puppies and recover her health.   She's still super skinny but is gaining weight and is now 41 lbs.  If any of the puppies are half as gorgeous as momma, you'll have one stunning dog to be your BFF (best friend forever)!

Cash was the first puppy born and also the first puppy to bravely wander away from his mother to explore the world. He's adorable, sweet, and super handsome ;-) He's also the best behaved of the whole group - when his foster mom calls the puppies, little Cash is always the first to come running!

KIDS:                        Yes, super sweet. Lived with a 7 month old baby and did great.
IDEAL FAMILY:        An active family who will excercise Cash daily, continue his training, and provide him with lots of love.

CASH's ADOPTION FEE: $195
This fee covers only part of what we spend to vet, board and rehab the dogs we save. On average we spend over $450 on each dog. We made a decision to keep our adoption fee at the 2005 level even though vet prices have doubled and tripled since then. We are constantly fundraising to cover the deficit. At minimum, your adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter, heartworm test, heartworm treatment if needed, rabies shot, distemper/parvo shot, bordatella shot, deworming, monthly heartworm and flea preventives, and microchip. In many cases it also includes surgery and various types of vet treatment for standard issues such as hot spots, ear infections and so on.
