About Jetta | |
|
|
JETTA is an active and stunning GSD who is full of life! We think that Jetta is between 3 and 4 years old based on her energy-level and physical appearance. She was a stray before taken in at a Nebraska shelter and is currently living in a foster home where she is getting lots of training and love!
Jetta is a typical GSD and will require proper introductions with strange dogs. She is definately a talker when she meets other dogs and wants to get the first word in! Once introduced she relaxes and is great with other dogs. She has been living with two other german shepherds with no problems, all she wants to do is play with them. Lots of socialization for this girl is a MUST in order to assure her that strange dogs are ok.
Jetta is house-trained, crate-trained, and is great with people of all ages. She has TONS of energy and frequently jumps on people when she is really excited. She will need a strong canine leader and someone who will excercise her daily.
DOGS: yes. Needs initial supervision and proper introductions to avoid being over-enthusiastic too quickly.
CATS: unknown, would have to be tested.
KIDS: yes. Has not been tested around young children but don't expect any issues other than her very high energy and overall rambunctiousness
IDEAL HOME: an ACTIVE family who will exercise her and are good canine leaders.
JETTA's ADOPTION FEE: $300
This fee covers only part what we spend on vet and boarding costs for the dogs we save. At minimum it includes the dog's spay/neuter, heartworm test, heartworm treatment if needed, rabies shot, distemper/parvo shot, bordatella shot, deworming, monthly heartworm and flea preventives, and microchip. In many cases it also includes surgery and various types of vet treatment for standard issues such as hot spots, ear infections and so on.
