More Information:
FRITZY is ... what can we say? A darn near perfect dog! He loves people, is great with other dogs, ignores the cats, is great with kids, is housetrained, is mellow, is well-behaved in the house. Wow!
As his foster mom wrote after just two days, "Have I told you how much I looooooove this boy?"
Fritzy is a stunningly handsome red-and-black coated (long-coat) German Shepherd. His owner was arrested while out walking Fritz - and Fritz went to doggie jail where we got him in the nick of time.
Fritz is very skinny and we're working to put some meat on his bones (hard to tell in the pictures because of his long coat). He weighed only 59 pounds when we got him - and he should probably weigh 90 lbs! He's going to be a big boy when he gets some weight on.
The only thing his forever family needs to do: brush, brush, brush him! As a longcoat GSD, he sheds like crazy. But the upside is the stunning dog you'll have as you keep him groomed and brushed. He will require weekly brushings at minimum.
If you're looking for one terrific German Shepherd,
mellow and great with everyone,
FRITZY MAY BE THE DOG OF YOUR DREAMS!
