More Information:
ROSE (aka ROSIE) is an incredibly sweet girl who is loving, adorable, playful and a typical GSD youngster. She loves to love and be loved on!! She spent her entire life in a wonderful home with a loving family.
Rose lived with cats, is great with other dogs, and is excellent with kids. She likes to chase horses, but really just in play. She is housebroken, crate trained and can have run of the house (though we always recommend crating a new dogs when no one is home, until they're fully acclimated to the new house, family and schedule). Rose is also used to having an electronic fence, and for the most part she abided by that (she did get out once in a while).
In short, Rose is an almost perfect, ready-to-go-home dog!
Rose came to MOGS under sad circumstances. The owner's husband was killed in a tragic motorcycle accident and the owner works long hours in the medical field. The tragedy of the circumstances was overwhelming and the owner felt unable to continue caring properly for Rose (and her sister Tay). She lovingly wanted the girls to go to good homes where someone would be able to care for them and spend at least some time with them.
So Rose is now looking for her new and final family, where she can settle in and be a loved family member for the rest of her life!!
Rose would love to have a doggie brother or sister, or even a cat, as a buddy, but we believe she would also do fine in a single dog home. We recommend regular interaction with other dogs if she is the only dog in the home.
Rose’s adoption fee is $300.00.
This fee covers a portion of the vet and boarding expenses for the dogs we save. It includes the dog's spay/neuter, heartworm test, heartworm treatment if needed, rabies, distemper/parvo and bordatella vaccinations, deworming and microchip.
