About Trina | |

More Information:
Trina was a breeder dog who was used to mass produce litter after litter of pups. She is understandably shy and scared, since her entire world was turned upside down! She lived in a kennel all her life and touched grass for the first time when she came to us (wasn't quite sure what it was, either). It is clear that she was treated badly.
Everything is new and different for Trina. But it's clear she's a sweet, loving girl who really appreciates her new version of LIVING! Overall she's done well -on Day 1 in her new environment, she was already enjoying small cuddles and sharing the occasional puppy kiss!!
KIDS: However, Trina needs to be in a home with no small children. The noise and sudden movement of small children startles her and her fear may lead her to nip.
OTHER ANIMALS: It would be best if she were an only pet. She is insecure about her place in the doggie pack, and has attacked a smaller dog she lived in foster care when the other dog invaded her space. She can be around some other large dogs, but is sometimes uncomfortable with it. Her reactions are somewhat unpredictable. We think she will be best in a home with only her humans.
Trina's on the smaller side and a beautiful girl. She ADORES playing with her kong and getting cuddles from humans she knows. She is still very shy and uncertain at adoption events, and we are trying hard to get her out more!
It says a lot about Trina that -- despite her fear and her entire world going topsy turvy -- on Day 1 in her foster home she gave small cuddles and the occasional kiss!!
