More Information:
SARAH is a stunning classic German Shepherd with a gorgeous stance and face. She loves her people and like all 2 yr old GSd's she loves to play! She is high energy and needs an active family who will give her plenty of exercise. She would be a wonderful agility dog, running companion, or something similar. She will be one happy camper with a job to do!
SARAH has recently developed a tendency to want to be queen bee with other dogs. It appears that she's going through "the terrible two's" testing period, wanting to be "top dog" among the canines. Her family loved her, but unfortunately, they didn't have any idea how to deal with this when it started to develop after more than a year. After several scuffled between doggie siblings, her family relinquished SARAH to MOGS.
We believe that good canine leadership can solve that. SARAH is young, high energy, intense, and as a young teenager she's full of herself right now. If she's the only dog in the home, it's not an issue. Otherwise for now, she will probably be best with a submissive male dog. No cats.
SARAH's next and forever family simply needs to exercise excellent canine leadership, and help Sarah learn what is both appropriate and tolerated in interactions with other dogs. She lived with her GSD sister for well over a year before the scuffles started, and we believe a knowledgeable and firm leader will have little problem redirecting this teenage behavior.
SARAH is a gem (though a lunkheaded teenager about other dogs), is stunningly beautiful, and will make a terrific companion for a family with great leadership skills. Her love and loyalty are unmatched, and your lifetime with her will bring much joy and reward for both of you.
Right now she is in boarding and very confused, looking for her family.
WILL YOU BE HER FOREVER FAMILY?
Sarah’s adoption fee is $300.00.
This fee covers a portion of the vet and boarding expenses for the dogs we save. It includes the dog's spay/neuter, heartworm test, heartworm treatment if needed, rabies, distemper/parvo and bordatella vaccinations, deworming and microchip.
