More Information:
NASH is a big, gentle, sweet, fortunate boy! Abandoned in southern MO, he's now safe and warm in a wonderful foster home where he's enjoying lazy naps on the couch!!!
NASH had many advocates -- several different rescues and an animal control officer -- pulling for him. When he got off the chain, it turned out he was heartworm positive. He has been treated and is in great health. This boy is headed for the good life!!!!! And no one deserves it more than a former chained dog like NASH.
We've tested NASH twice with other dogs and he does fine. His initial reaction to cats is disinterest, though he would like to get friendlier with his foster kitty than she wants him to! He does well on leash and is moderate energy. He is currently in foster care with a small child and seems to love kids. He loves humans and is fine with strangers.
NASH has taken quickly to the good life in his foster home, and they're absolutely nuts about him. He's calm, sweet, gorgeous and an all-around nice boy. He's going to make someone a big sweetheart of a companion.
Nash’s adoption fee is $300.00.
This fee covers a portion of the vet and boarding expenses for the dogs we save. It includes the dog's spay/neuter, heartworm test, heartworm treatment if needed, rabies, distemper/parvo and bordatella vaccinations, deworming and microchip.
