About Cannon | |
|
Cannon is approximately 10 months old. He is such a sweetheart and has a very "soft" personality. He would love nothing more than to be your forever friend. He is still learning quite a bit about being a house pet. He came in with Cassidy from a shelter in NE, they might be litter mates. We think he was from a backyard breeder and had no socialization. He is making leaps and bounds everyday. Cannon still has a lot to learn though and a lot more filling out to do. He is 62lbs currently and should probably be around 75 to 80lbs. Cannon gets along great with other dogs and even likes cats. He LOVES kids and is very good with them. We are still wokring on house training but he is kennel trained. Please consider Cannon and he will be your best friend for life
Foster Update 9/24/2010:
What a difference a week makes! Cannon is thriving. Its incredible to watch him learn - he is a sponge for knowledge right now and is accepting the rules very easily. He discovered that countersurfing wasn't allowed with a just two verbal corrections, has learned 'lay down' and knows to sit for dinner, outside, and walks.
Cannon has not had a house accident here - though he does not want to be outside alone, he needs to focus on getting his business done - and not on worrying about where his person is at. He's gaining weight well and is feeling much more healthy and energetic. He is still very much a playful puppy, but his temperment is so sweet and gentle that he just doesn't want to do anything wrong and does very well at staying out of trouble.
Cannon has breifly been around young children and done very well, he is cautious around the very small ones and just wants to be in the middle of whatever the older ones are up to. He would love a canine friend and/or a couple of kids to pal around with. He will make some family very lucky.
