LOCATION: Kansas City area
AGE: approx. 3 yrs
TEMPERAMENT: loving, sweet, energetic, likes to be queen bee
SCARLETT is a STUNNING red and black German Shepherd who is lively, active and loves to be the boss. She lives with two other German Shepherds who are submissive and has a blast playing and romping.
SCARLETT is extremely well mannered and a great house dog. She can heel, sit and stop among other commands, and will wait at the back door to have her paws wiped. She is housebroken, crate-trained and great on a leash. She’s a smart young girl with brains and just the right amount of energy to suit her age.
SCARLETT would love an active family to spend the rest of her life with!
From her current owner:
SCARLETT is 3 now, has all of her shots as of 1/2010. She is really smart, and loves to hunt - she is very good at catching moles and rabbits. I think that she would be happy with:
1) someone who wants a companion to exercise or
2) live on acreage where she can run and hunt.
She is dominant in nature, but very socialized.
She LOVES to ride in the car!
I would not recommend a home with small children.
She was listed originally as "no cats".
SCARLETT was originally found as a stray in
We do not recommend small children for SCARLETT. She has been around small children and done fine, but if she has a bone or treat and a child chases her, she will be possive/protective and that can get real bad, real fast.
SCARLETT's ADOPTION FEE: $300. This covers her vetting which includes her spay, heartworm test, all shots, deworming and microchip.
